Our Mission Statement:
Circle Circle dot dot is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that engages audiences by creating original Theatre devised from the stories of our community. We allow each new development to be entirely collaborative and inclusive with a broad scope of the art world. We do this to bring Theatre back to the root of what has always made it important: the ability to allow the world to see and understand itself through stimulating, informative, and highly entertaining art.
Katie has an MFA and a BFA. She acts a lot, writes a lot, has sat through a lot of theory classes, has devised a lot of art with a lot of different kinds of people, and has enjoyed every second of it. This company is her attempt to take everything she has learned and loved about Theatre and put it all in one place with the help of an amazing group of artists who also have a ton of different kinds of experiences to bring to the table. It is her belief that Collaborative Community-Based art is really where it is "at" when it comes to Contemporary Theatre. She is humbled by this entire experience and is growing every day. She thanks you for reading, thanks you for sharing, thanks you for making space for this wildly different experience in the already crowded art world. She basically just thanks you for giving a hoot. We'll keep on as long as you are here.

Born in Oakland, California, Shaun learned to "P-push it real good" at a young age. Shaun was introduced to the art of acting, singing, and dancing when his mother popped VHS tapes of "The Wizard of Oz" and "Mary Martin's Peter Pan" into the living room VCR. It wasn't until half way through High School that Shaun tried acting, singing and dancing in front of other people other than his little sister. From there, the theatre bug bit him... real hard. Shaun finally freed himself from private Catholic education when he arrived in San Diego to attend SDSU where he earned a BA in Theatre Arts. Shaun met fellow dot dotter, Patrick Kelley, at SDSU and not long later started working with him in this awesome company. For Shaun's debut Circle show he was the drag queen that was deconstructed, Michael aka Sunny Peaks. He helps out @Circle2dot2 any way he can, but he specifically loves social media. Tweet and Instagram him @ShaunTwaz #peaceandlove

She remembers her teacher auditioning each and every student, and after auditions were over, Ms. Farrah privately took Kristin aside and told her she was the most animated, most expressive kid in the class. Needless to say, Kristin got the lead and, as they say, the rest is history!

She caught the theater bug... When she was 7 years old. Her parents took her to see the Evergreen Children's Choral perform Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. About halfway through "Go, Go, Go Joseph" my dad leaned over to her and asked, "would you like to do that?" and without tearing her eyes from the stage all she could do was nod vigorously and watch. She auditioned for the Children's Chorale the next summer and the rest is history!
